Weddings 


Cancellation Refunds

1. In the event of there being a sudden change or cancellation of the ceremony the initial deposit will be non-refundable once the NOIM is received. If the event is beyond your control (severe weather or a building being decommissioned) then I reserve the right to be re-engaged for any re scheduled ceremony, otherwise I shall be entitled to full cost of the event (Less travel expenses if travel not undertaken)

2. Any cancellation that is 2 weeks prior to the event, the customer shall be liable to a 50% charge on base cost (and full costs incurred for any extras that have been started and not yet completed, namely those items requiring my input) and any surplus already paid above this cost will be refunded.

3. Any cancellation that is less than 7 days before the event the customer shall be liable to 75% of base cost plus (and full costs incurred for any extras that have been started and not yet completed, namely those items requiring my input) and any surplus already paid above this cost will be refunded.

4. Any cancellation on the day maybe subject to no refunds being made notwithstanding the circumstances in 1 above.

5. Balances not paid by the due date, or in any case up to the event date are subject to the conditions above and may result in me not attending the event.

6. In the instance of a late arrival/start caused by the client I reserve the right to charge an additional AUD120 per hour pro rata for the delay, subject to a grace period of 30 minutes.


Contingency due to my incapacitation to perform on the day

I will seek, with your approval the services of another celebrant with any additional costs above our agreed costs being a met by me.


Funerals 

1. Owing to the timescales, the initial deposit is non refundable. 

2. Balances not paid by the due date, or in any case up to the event date are subject to the conditions above and may result in me not attending the event. This will be viewed on a case by case basis and circumstances will be given due consideration.

3. Should I no longer be required full costs incurred for any extras that have been started and not yet completed, namely those items requiring my input) and any surplus already paid above this cost will be refunded.
